Urla Wine Route — Vineyards and Tastings

The Urla Wine Route is one of Turkey's premier vineyard corridors. Along Kuşçular, Özbek, and İçmeler villages sit 7+ wineries — each with reservation tastings, restaurants, some with lodging.

USCA (Kuşçular) — boutique low-volume. Urlice (İçmeler) — native grape focus + restaurant. MMG (Kuşçular) — prestige tier. Statera (Özbek) — design-led modern. Mozaik (Kuşçular) — warm family-run. Çakır (Kuşçular) — spacious grounds + restaurant + lodging.

Suggested day plan

10:30 USCA tasting → 12:00 Urlice lunch + tasting → 14:30 MMG private tour → 16:30 wind down at Çakır gardens. 3-4 wineries fit comfortably. All within 15-25 min drive of Urla center.

Reservation, pricing, season

Tasting 400-800 ₺/person (3-5 wines + bites). Reservation REQUIRED, especially weekends. Harvest festival late August-early September is peak. Summer hot (shaded tables), winter limited hours.

Can I do the route without a car?

Sep-Oct harvest is most beautiful. Apr-May calm and cool. August hot but festive. Winter limited hours, some closed.

Bring kids?

Most wineries kid-friendly (gardens, animals, play areas). Çakır and Urlice especially. Tasting is adult activity, kids get food.
