The ESHOT bus lines that connect Urla to İzmir city centre and surrounding districts are listed below. Times vary by season and weekday/weekend; live departure times are on each line's official ESHOT page.
• 984 Urla – Fahrettin Altay: The busiest line from central Urla to İzmir; connects to F.Altay metro for the rest of İzmir. • 761 Karaburun – Urla – F.Altay: Comes from the Karaburun peninsula and continues to İzmir via Urla. • 738 Çeşmealtı – Urla – F.Altay: Starts at Çeşmealtı seafront, reaches İzmir via central Urla. • 684 Express: Express line from İzmir towards Urla with fewer stops. • Other lines serve villages like Balıklıova, Özbek, Zeytinalanı and Gülbahçe.
Bus times change by season. Each line's official ESHOT page lists the current departure times — always check before you head out. The main bus stop in Urla is in the central neighbourhood near the Kaymakamlık (sub-governorate). All lines pass through central Urla.
When buses are not running (late at night or in between), Urla taxi stands operate 24/7. For nearby neighbourhoods (Zeytinalanı, Çeşmealtı, Gülbahçe) a taxi is the fastest option. All taxi-stand phone numbers are on the Urla Taxi Guide page.
Line 984 takes about 50–65 minutes in normal traffic between Urla and F.Altay. It can be longer on summer weekends.
Most ESHOT lines run roughly 06:00 — 23:00. Late at night a taxi is the practical alternative.
Line 738 Çeşmealtı – Urla connects them directly; it's a short ride (~10-15 min). Taxi is also common.
ESHOT lines are İzmir municipal — they do not reach Çeşme directly. Intercity coach companies (Özhalkbus, Metro Turizm, etc.) towards Çeşme do pass through Urla.
